First off I hope everyone had a blessed Easter break becuase mine was swell lol. Welp, in the words of Ice Cube "today was a good day" a very good day infact, I got my check and a letter from the NYC GLCA program. So today April 17th, 2006, it's official Isaiah Mitnaul currently lives at 305 West 29th Street NY, NY (YAYA) one street away from Madison Square Garden!!! Man, you would think my life is on chill mode but in all honesty the last two months for me musically, mentally, business wise, and educationally has been a TRIP and a HALF lol!! But I can't complain because my life and my career is literally blossoming right infront of my eyes, sometimes it seems surreal!! O I just have to stunt for a second because I had another 180 in my production skills so get ready to experience the FUTURE of MUSIC peoples!!! Welp I have to get back to work so I'll hollatchalata!! PACE

Days like this I just feel like hiding myself within the comfort of my warm bed, heat up a Swanson macaroni and cheese tv dinner (maybe 2 hehe), watch some Brown Sugar, and listen to some Coldplay (u know that type of zone out music you play where you lay down, close your eyes and visually go over your life personally and spiritually as if your watching a movie of yourself), and just TOTALLY mute the world around me for a minute to just put myself back together, u know? I see you shaking your head saying no I don't lol!!! I guess its just the Avid Music Lover/Mitnaul/Christian/Everchanging pieces of me?

Welp since I can't do that in my cluttered dorm room lol I guess I'll just use this blog as my therapy lol

Actually, right know I'm listening to a song called Hard Times by Dr. Buzzard and the Original Savannah Band and I feel better already. My mom put me on to them and everyone out there in "Internet-Land" should definetly check them out, you may recognize their most notable song Cher Cher La Fam redone by Ghostaface Killah and U-God. but anyways i literally LOVE THIS SONG, personally one of my top 3 fav songs ever!! Today is beautiful in my neighborhood!! lol Sorry for the graphic image but today I ambitiouslly conquered a dragon in my life by the name of PRO TOOLS!!!! I know your saying what is that Isaiah? Well, in the "Music Industry" Pro Tools is the standard sound editing program to create top notch Musica. It is very pertinent for any producer to know how to use this piece of machinery. First off thies program is very very EXPENSIVE but most importantly technically COMPLEX but no need to fret because your hometown hero Isaiah has accomplished such a feet lol. One reason why I'm so glad I learned how to use Pro Tools is because i lied on my NYC Internship resume and said I knew how to use it( because I expected my Music Tech class to teach me how) but apparetly I had to learn on my own and like the genious Isaiah is I spent five hours slaying this gianormous dragon and I came out VICTORIOUS!!! woo hoo go me go me (doin laffy taffy dance) lol!! Wow, Isaiah Mitnaul is officially a PRODUCER (whew) So before I walk off into the sunset to visit my princess I'll leave yall with my quote for the day.

I GOT A GOLDEN TICKET!!!

Hey fam,

Today has been THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE next to getting SAVED!!! lol I know your saying to yourself slow down Isaiah "what happened"? Well it all started this morning, when I thought to myself "Man, I havent heard from my internship program(www.newyorkartsprogram.org/)about whether I was first accepted and second who I got my interviews with? Well after my 11:00 spanish class I sent out an iquiring email to them and kept on moving. Prior to today I was expecting my SSFA check (my slave job lol) today so after my Orchestra class I went to check my mailbox for my check AND....TO MY SUPRISE there appeared a thick packet from GLCA. And everyone knows what it means when u get the thick packet. Well i rushed back to my room, ripped it open, and the cover letter read "Dear Isaiah we are happy to enroll you into the NYC GLCA program and we are willing to schedule your interviews with EACH of your prospective sponsors"!!!!!!

Mannnnn I dropped the letter, did my laffy taffy dance, and prayed for 2 minutes thanking GOD for this "life changing opportunity". Of course I called all of my fam to tell them the good news and I've been on CLOUD 10 eva since ; )

Just looking at the map of the residential housing area I know live across from Time Square, Rocafeller Center, and The Fashion District aka Macy's!!! So if u see me on 106 or TRL u can see me represent for K-Town lol How bananas is DAT!! Im neva going back home know lol

But personally I'm so thankful that God allowed me to experience the MANY disappointments and failures I went through because this moment makes LIFE and my TESTIMONY that much betta!!! Chucch

So I justed wanted to "talk my ish again" like Kanye cus WE GOING MAJOR FAMILY!!!
